Cfast Braces

Cfast is a relatively new cosmetic orthodontic treatment available at Ten Orthodontics in Clapham that corrects misalignment of the front six teeth.

About this treatment

The Cfast system is a cosmetic tooth alignment treatment which uses clear brackets and tooth-coloured wires to produce forces that straighten teeth effectively, creating beautiful, natural smiles. Cfast was developed in 2009 by Dr Biju Krishnan, a highly experienced orthodontist.

How does Cfast work?

Patients wear a small, discreet brace made from clear brackets and tooth-coloured wires for a short period of time. The brace produces gentle forces to effectively align teeth, tackling misalignment problems and creating a perfectly straight smile. Cfast cosmetic tooth alignment is designed for patients who have orthodontic problems affecting the front six teeth.

What are the benefits of Cfast?

  • Speed: Treatment is typically complete within six months, much shorter than most orthodontic treatments
  • Comfort: The brace was developed with comfort in mind, moving teeth quickly and without pain
  • Aesthetics: The braces are discreet and can barely be seen by others. They also improve the aesthetics of the smile by encouraging the gums to follow the movement of teeth
  • Cost: Cfast is cheaper than many other orthodontic treatments
  • Suitable for patients of all ages

Will I need a retainer?

Patients using the Cfast treatment method will be advised to wear a retainer after treatment. Retainers help to prevent tooth relapse after treatment is finished and are vital for maintaining results.

Where can I get this treatment?

Ten Orthodontics offer specialist Cfast braces from their award winning practices in Clapham, Balham and Wandsworth.
