Jaya is a specialist in Orthodontics and has completed her MSc in Orthodontics at King’s College Hospital and MOrth at Royal College of Surgeons England. She achieved the highest academic result in her MSc in Orthodontics for which she was awarded a prestigious prize.
Jaya qualified as a dentist with Honours from Barts and The London achieving a distinction grade in all five years of study. She also received multiple awards for her academic achievements and won the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh) regional clinical skills competition. She was runner-up to the University of London Gold Medal.
She went on to work as a Restorative Senior House Officer at Barts and The London Dental Hospital, and thereafter worked at Bristol Dental Hospital as a Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. She has published in peer-reviewed journals and presented internationally as well as nationally at orthodontic conferences. She is passionate about teaching and has completed her PGCert in Dental Education.
Jaya focuses on delivering the best care to her patients, improving the smiles and confidence of children and adults in a friendly, approachable manner. She provides orthodontic care using a variety of appliances including cosmetic braces, Invisalign (clear aligners) and lingual braces where appropriate.
