How do dentures and implants work together?

Dentures are a very effective treatment for people who have lost teeth, but they do cause problems for some. A recent survey has revealed that up to 80% of denture-wearers experience problems with their dentures, with popular complaints including:

  • Looseness and slipping
  • Irritation and sore gums caused by ill-fitting dentures
  • Inability to eat certain foods due to dentures not being secure enough
  • Lack of confidence when speaking in public

All these problems could be solved in one day and one appointment at Ten Dental.  State-of-the-art implant systems are used which allow a complete denture to be permanently fixed to the jaw, giving a rock solid base. Dental implants are small screw-like fixtures which are anchored into the jaw-bone. Dentures are then fixed to the dental implants for ultimate and immediate stability.

Our Implant Dentists, Drs Martin Wanendeya  (GDC: 70626) & Nik Sisodia (GDC: 70616), regularly see denture wearers who have lost confidence and self-esteem due to the many problems that loose dentures bring them. With the advancements in implant techniques, they are able to restore that confidence in just one appointment and the results are truly life changing and patients are left with a healthy, attractive smile.

At Ten Dental we are currently offering patients a FREE Denture Stabilisation Consultation with our Treatment Co-Ordinator. To claim your free consultation, simply call 020 7622 7610 or visit http://www.tendental.com
